A Salute to Billy Joel
Music and Drama Troupe Building

Born in the Bronx in 1949, Billy Joel’s songs have spanned decades. Through the 1980s, Joel collected a slew of awards, including a Grammy for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance and a People’s Choice Award. Joel was crowned a hit-maker with “The Piano Man,” “Tell Her About It,” “Innocent Man,” “Uptown Girl,” and “We Didn’t Start the Fire.”

Veterans Day Community Band Concert
Thomasville Municipal Auditorium

n partnership with the City of Thomasville, ACTU honors the veterans and service men and women who fight for America’s freedom. The Rose City Symphonic Band and Capital City Band of Tallahassee Community College will salute the brave men and women with an afternoon of patriotic anthems and songs.
